Bronica ETRSi. As basic as you can get for a 645... They're running around $300 for a setup with more goddies than I have at KEH right now. I'm really tempted by a 40mm f4 though. My whole setup is the body, 1 120 back, waist level finder and the stock 75mm f/2.8 lens. Mine doesn't even have a meter and it's a hand crank on the side. But thats the way I like it, I could just go wider.
That's kinda what I expected, since I knew you had a Bronica.... but I thought the ETRSi was 6x6, not 6x4.5. *shrug* I wouldn't mind having one of them, for sure. Playing with the Rollei has made me really love the waist level viewfinder
So I take it you're enjoying the scanner too?
Great set. I really need to get out of Kantucky more often.
loving it. I've got epson scan on the lappy now and I'm sitting here scanning while watching TV tonight. I'm on 21 for the night so far. I've missed having a scanner forever, but once I went MF I needed something bigger anyway. This thing scans way better than my old coolscan ever did which is weird since that was dedicated. Sure current drum or film only scanners are better, but the 4800dpi available here is insane. I'm only using 3200 because any larger and it's not any sharper due to the grain. So I take it you're enjoying the scanner too?
oh, and this thing is already paid for... My wife's boss had said if I scanned some slides for him he'd pay for it. Plus my parents have BOXES of old slides they want scanned. So Xmas for them is taken care of as well.
and one of the car:
yes and no. At times it was a rad rally type surface and was a blast. At other times is was borderline 4x4 so we'd have to take it slow in an outback. But that's the road we did 3 360s in that outback one gnarly icy day.
yeah, it's a bronica 645 ETRSi I think? Waist level finder, one lens (I'd love something wider but it works). I need to find someplace to develop 120 film so I can shoot it more.
know any mail away places? I actually have some old rolls I'd love to develop and if that goes well I'd start shooting it again.... I've been craving a fuji 6x9 texasleica forever...
I don't have any first-hand experience, but I know they've been around forever.
Also, I have a Fuji gsw690ii with 60mm lens here right now. Friend borrowed it to me, one roll of portra 160 and one roll of velvia 100 coming tomorrow.
is that the wide one? I can never keep MF focal lengths straight...
