Is it possible to mount a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 1.4/50mm lens on a Canon or Nikon DSLR? If yes, which adapter do you recommend?
    Thanks!

That's an M42 lens? If so, I've used Fotodiox adapters when going to e mount. They're cheap but they seem to work. It seems they do make ones for Nikon and Canon which makes sense as the M42 was supposed to be a universal mount.

I see! So Sony is the winner. Sony a7s or any full frame Sony "E" mount I guess.
What kind of adapter do I need for the Sony full frame cameras?
I need a lens which has a M42 mount for Sont E mount, I guess, right?

Here is a search at Amazon for M42 adapters. As you can see, you can go from M42 to any camera system.

So, if it is a Sony mirrorless, any of the E mount ones would work fine.
