So my awesome girlfriend got me a year membership and money put on the card to Wolf Camera for my birthday. So we went down there this afternoon and got me a birthday present!!

Thanks. It's my first real flash since getting the camera, so I'm a tad excited to use it this weekend @ the party. Now to figure out how to use it.....

im still pretty lost with on camera flash and nikon.... when in aperture mode, it tops out at 1/60 shutter speed. I mean i get the point that you want enough ambient to fill the background but i guess i have to stick with full manual mode on the camera and leave the flash in ttlBL

It's been great so far. Still have a lot to learn with it. So far, I kept it in Program mode, so I can tweak it a little bit, but other people were trying to take pictures with it, so I threw it in Auto and left it the rest of the night. I'll post up some pics from my birthday party later.
