I wasn't going to get it, but the price...

I'm broke as is, but it's hard to pass up a good deal like that, when its $35 less than what is posted.

Impulsive shopper much?

Its the 3rd night of Hannukah already, get with the program!

And I am all for any holidays that mean I get presents :)

jacobsen1
12-06-2007, 04:28 PM
so you guys do both then, or Matt has to give you gifts for both...

We sort of do both, its usually that time of year where we see a good deal and we pick it up as a "present".

^ the website spells it MAT. I asked leah about that already...

I was raised Jewish, and Matt is Catholic, so I just pick and choose what holidays to celebrate :-)

e.g. Easter and not Lent, Hannukah and not Yom Kippur :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mat_%28picture_framing%29
In the picture framing industry, a mat is a thin, flat piece of paper-based material included within a picture frame, which serves as additional decoration and to perform several other, more practical functions, such as separating the art from the glass. Putting mats in a frame is called matting, a term which can also usually be used interchangeably with mat.

*cough* why the hell do you think I'm always misspelling it??? *cough*

It's not just Jerry's either. I've seen the cutters and the board written as Mat before, so it's weird like that... I'm thinking it might be like color/colour and tire/tyre.

And Leah, with what you just posted, that says I was right all along and you guys SHAMED me into doing it wrong...  :lobster:

We might have to pick up some stuff at your local art store next weekend so we can work on the NSOP picture trade framing thing :)

I'm holding off on stuff like this for a little bit. I'm excited to get started though in it probably after the wedding.

Now if only I had played it smart and demanded a print in exchange for that code ;)

I was still debating it... takes a lot for me to part with my money. I still wasn't sold on it, I was about to post up a thread asking how much money it will actually save me over just buying the mats... but then, I noticed the price was no longer there, so yeah.
