I hit a wall here on this shot and can't seem to get more out of it. The blue hue in the sky along with the lack of pop in the rocks has me at a standstill; I really need to take a class in PS or buy a book, watch tutorial videos- something. Please feel free to grab the high-res TIFF file here (http://www.grapon.com/mk19/DSC_7573-Edit.tif). TIA.

I really like the first B&W conversion, the contrast and vignetting really add to it.

Photobucket messed it up quite a bit. Just imaging the photo with a little more saturation and not so soft. :p

Played with it in Lightroom and with Nik's Viveza 2 and Color Efex Pro 3.

I think the location is awesome but it really needs a better sky. You should revisit often.

Thanks everyone- some really great work in here. I think I'll try my hand at a B&W. I agree with Shawn that the sky was flat- coupled with the sun coming up just off to the right made this shot tricky. I will try and get back up this way 3-4 more times this year. Thankfully, the vertical shot of this was AMAZING. I have it in a 20x30 metallic paper stand out, 20x30 metal framed and a 20x30 mated/wood framed. Now, if they'll just sell,
