Marisa, I'm dedicating my PAD to you--this is one of the many developments (read: suburban sprawl), that is springing up around my neighborhood (this is NOT my neighborhood!) As you can see, it's very "scenic," especially for the people whose houses butt up to this gigantic pile of dirt (that has been there for 6+ months, btw).

I got my climbing training board I got for the wedding installed today. Man, I sure am weak after missing about 2 months of climbing due to the wedding and honeymoon.

Canceled due to torrential downpours and standing water in the corners. It's ok, because I signed up for the next trackday on this Friday and I'll be doing a 4 hour endurance race on Saturday. It better not rain.

Jealous! I need to start climbing again, I miss it. I have a bunch of handholds and I need to make my own practice wall.

Not very artistic, but the image of a huge lifted truck in a handicap spot just didn't sit right with me. He even had the placard.

Climbing is one of those things - its really got a draw to it, there's always a challenge, and its always fun. Even on the frustrating days where I suck, I still love it.

The passenger and not the driver/owner of the truck may be the one in need of handicapped parking. I have been there so I thought I would add this point of view. Although either way, that truck would be a challenge to get in and out of for the person.

Yah, either way if they're handicapped it would be a tough climb. But maybe its for something else like a passenger who is blind, etc. Either it stuck out as a incongruous vehicle for that spot.

Well its much more plausible that a handicapped person would be climbing in and out of an sti.

Last week I had just taken my placard out of the window because I was pulling out of the spot. And some dude comes up to my window and was like, you better get out of that spot before a real handicap person needs it. I throw the placard in his face and then he was like, oh, good girl. WTF??!! Why the heck is it his business to police the handicap spots?

I get reactions like that all the time because I can walk. People look at me and think I am healthy as can be and I get dirty looks and comments ALL the time. Once this lady even ASKED me what my disability was!

I'll tell you this much - my friend had a placard for a while after he broke his leg really badly - we took him everywhere and milked that thing for all its worth, but nobody said anything because he was hardly able to walk.

it's weird... I'm using a .psd with the sig in it that the action opens, copies, pastes, moves and closes the file... For some reason it doesn't get it right all the time. This is the second file I've seen slip through... The action should be done with make text and move text but it was ~40 steps to get it right with that much going on, so the .psd was the only easy way to get it to work...

nice catch though leah.

I was wondering if anybody would guess that by seeing the scorecards!

Yep, Euchre. We usually score with 5's but this friend is from Ohio and I guess 6's and 4's are the way they do it. :unamused:

Now who can guess the two beers on the table?

No, I've lived in Texas all my life. My Ohioan friend in the photo and his parents taught me how to play in high school (they transplanted here), but I mostly started playing in my college years with another good friend from Michigan (the one I visited in Grand Rapids recently). We always score with 5's. 6's and 4's **** me up!
