another one just popped up, this time with a top flap and it's less expensive....
Gravis DJ Messenger Bag

Bag Dimensions: 29 x 15 x 14in (74 x 38 x 35.5cm)
External Pockets: 1 Front, side stretch

so it stretches to be 29 deep then?

BTW, did you find anything at REI?

no dude, there were SICK north face and other jackets that were all way too big (XL - XXXL) all the bags sucked as they were all womens, the clearance shoes were bleck and there was like 4 pairs.

the only thing i ALMOST bought was a camelbak water bottle that was like $1.58 marked down from $12 but i already have a cool camelbak water bottle.

i almost called you yesterday when i was there, literally i was standing in a crowd of 50+ waiting for them to open at 10am. i didn't know if you guys wanted/needed anything so i didn't call. they sale is still going on so let me know if you guys need hiking backpacks or cycling gloves, i noticed some great deals there

Would this sale be at my local REI too? And if so when does it go to?
I wear XL or XXL jackets for my ape arms. :unamused:
I don't need anything though, and I'll only buy a jacket if I can try it on as sometimes XXL isn't even long enough... Totally varies by the cut.

yeah dude, it's on nationwide PLUS on the website!

there were at least 3 rounders FULL of XL-XXXL jackets for men, TONS of womens and AN ASS LOAD of kids jackets.

i walked past the ski/snowboard stuff and there were boots and some skis on sale, some hiking backpacks, some rock climbing stuff, lots of cycling gears, tons of womens clothes (including first layers, etc) and some mens clothes.

all in all, it's a REALLY good sale, with CRAZY prices, just nothing really in my size or that i really need.

oh and don't forget in-store the stuff ending in .83 is 50% off that lowest price, everything ending in .93 is just regular sale (which are still good prices)

Is this bag a bit too deep?

Is this bag a bit too deep?

I honestly don't think that's possible. I have a backpack that's ~24" tall/deep, that's a bit much, but I just don't fill it when using it with camera gear... With longer lenses it would be nice.
