I got one after my g/f got one from her brother for Xmas
Its awesome! I love mine!
You can even use the included 1/4-20 -> 3/8" adaptor to attach tripod heads on it to use with camera plates and verticals. Problem though is its weight sensitive, so adding a 1 lb head will limit its usefulness, but right now im between the mini tripod head from Manfrotto, and the Markings Q3..

I lie the idea but it doesn't hold enough eight to carry my camera.

I got one of the PS ones a week ago or so. Its pretty dang cool. you can mount your camera just about anywhere. Its a little springy so you'll want to use a shutter release or the timer to allow the spring motion to die down before the shutter releases.

I have it and it's been good. There are times I would've been better off with a regular tripod but this is flexible and strong enough to hold my 30D w/ battery grip with a 70-200mm f4 IS L on a pole.

This one's from camping and didn't bring my battery grip.

Sweet, that is just what I was looking for, thanks. A shot of it hanging off apole would be cool too. So I have been thinking about getting one of these or a bean bag thing, this looks pretty cool though.

This one I did with the 30D w 10-22 w/ battery grip -- the gorillapod legs didn't wrap completely around the wood but it held it's position fine. :

 I knew i'd get a comment about having the flash on there! Actually my buddy wanted a photo with him in front of the pier/sunset, hence the flash :D

Kensington: No, the ballhead didn't come with it.

you sold me, just put my order in. Now I need to save up for a mini-ballhead to use on it...
