I think we should rename the nudes forum to "Nudes and NSFW" threads (bikinis, boudoir, stuff like that).

That way Caity won't be afraid to post her obviously NWS threads there.

The other option would be to add an optional bright red NSFW tag to thread listings, like reddit just did.

Plus, that way it's a lot easier to know which threads to read when we get home. ;)

link to their icon? Should we steal it or make our own? But yeah, the icon is brilliant. I would have thought using nudes for "NWS" material would be common sense, but this is stupid we're talking about.

Just go to www.reddit.com and keep clicking around until you find a NSFW link. It's literally just NSFW in small red letters underneath the thread title.

Also, in all fairness to Caity, I don't think she had any nude content in her post, but I can't say for sure as I closed it as soon as I saw the top half of the first pic :unamused:. So... maybe it wasn't obvious since it wasn't nude.

How 'bout you jokers get jobs that let you watch donkey porn at work?

Click on this SFW link that has a NSFW tag attached to it to see how reddit does it.

She wasn't nuuuude!

And I changed the title after I posted it, not my fault the forum doesn't change it on the outside :whatever:

I thought we already had a NSFW forum, in addition to Nudes?

PiP doesn't (or shouldn't) count.

^ yeah, but that one is a bit exclusive... ;)

hence the "shouldn't" in my post. I can't decide which approach makes the most sense - NSFW tags, the creation of a new NSFW forum/sub-forum, or changing the name of the Nudes forum.

I think nudes works. A name change might be a good idea, but if it's NWS, then it goes in nudes, does it really NEED more effort than that?
and my previous post was aimed at Sam's comment, not yours you sneaky bastard.

i just don't get this NSFW thing.

either it's ok to be ****ing around at work, or it's not.

are there a lot of people in a situation where it's kosher for the boss or peers to see you to **** around at work as long as you don't see tits and ass?

...there are times at work when it's OK to surf the web - some call it "lunch". I frequently peruse the latest postings on NSOP while eating lunch and don't need any unexpected bikini shots (or worse), so stay clear of anything labelled NSFW or in the Nudes section.

yeah, I'm kinda with Ken. If anyone sees me surfing at work (even if it's lunch or break when we're allowed) I'd catch crap for it. The BIG difference between a normal post being up and something nude is I'd get yelled at for a normal post, but probably fired on the spot for a nude. :daniel:

yeah, one gets you chewed out, the other gets you fired.

and now i can't hear the phrase "chewed out" without cracking up, thanks to inglourious basterds.

Agreed with Ken. This whole labeling makes absolutely no sense to me if not to look like a pretty "oh I'm so cool I know what it means" categorization. Maybe we should have a "idk" forum too for weird ****?
Bottom line, it's always obvious to me what I'm gonna find when I click on a post... unless the author is ****ing with you on purpose, which I haven't seen so far.

We are allowed to use the computers at work in our crew lounge for anything we wish, but nudity is still not acceptable to everyone, so therefore it would be frowned upon, as it is something someone could be offended by. Having things labeled is an easy way to know what to avoid to avoid a potentially awkward situation with a prude :)

Ask my boss who is no longer my boss if it's ok to look at boobs at work.
